Every year on August 19, photographers around the globe celebrate World Photography Day—a time to reflect on the art, passion, and power of photography. At Henry’s Cameras, we wanted to honour the day by shining a spotlight on the incredible talent in our community.
That’s why we launched the Henry’s World Photography Day Photo Challenge, inviting creators to share their unique perspectives through the lens. The theme? Travel Photography or Street Photography—two genres that highlight the beauty of everyday life and the thrill of exploring new places.
How the Contest Worked
To enter, participants simply posted their photo on social media using the hashtag #HenryPhotoChallenge, along with either #TravelPhotography or #StreetPhotography, and tagged @HenrysCamera.
We were blown away by the creativity and storytelling in every entry. From urban streetscapes to breathtaking landscapes, each photo captured the essence of the theme in its own way.
And of course, there were prizes on the line:
- First Place: $200 Henry’s Gift Card
- Second Place: $100 Henry’s Gift Card
