Every year, World Photography Day celebrates the art, craft, science, and history of photography. The day also encourages photographers from around the globe to share a single photo that encapsulates their world and helps them communicate their feelings and express themselves through the art of photography.
In honour of the day, we want to show appreciation to the people that help make Henry’s Canada’s greatest camera store – our Henry’s family of photographers – by celebrating their talent and expertise, showcasing their work, and sharing their passion.
Read on to find out more about our associates from coast to coast. Look for us or come talk to us in-store! #WeAreAllCreators
Anthony Jackson
Handle: @werosenetwork
Bio: When I first started photography and decided this is what I am going to do with my life, I moved myself, my now wife, and my dog into an 11ft trailer and sold all my possessions except for a rolling camera bag and a few light stands. I knew in the beginning I wasn’t going to make much money but if I minimized my expenses, I could spend less time working and worrying about bills and more time looking for photo work. I literally slept with my head next to a Cameron C-Stand for a year lol. The lesson learned was, if you are passionate about something, ditch your plan B and jump in.

Zane Andres
Handle: @zane.andres
Bio: I’ve always been obsessed with cameras and photography, ever since I received my first point and shoot film camera when I was six years old. To me, photography is a medium for artistic expression through experimentation, and you shouldn’t get hung up on rules or technique. The most important thing is to have fun while taking photos. If you are having fun, that emotion will come through in your final image. I do not specialize in any one type of photography, taking pictures of whatever I want, whenever I see the chance to capture an image.
